Phantom Parade Gets Opening Film, Cast Announced

The opening film of the next Jujutsu Kaisen: Ghost Parade The mobile game was released during a special game event, featuring various characters from the hit anime series.

The trailer doesn’t show any gameplay or footage from the upcoming game, but rather acts as an opening similar to what you’d find on an anime. The video features the song “Before” by Eve, and cuts between different characters from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Along with the trailer, some cast announcements were also made, with the following actors set to voice in-game characters:

  • Rina Satou as Saki Rindo
  • Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kaito Yūki
  • Rikiya Koyama as Kensuke Nagino

Jujutsu Kaisen: Ghost Parade Set to launch in 2022 for iOS and Android devices, and will be a free-to-play title with optional in-app purchases. The game will feature Saki and Kaito, two freshmen from the Fukuoka branch of Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.

Jujutsu Kaisen premiered in October 2020 with a 24-episode first season and immediately became a hit among fans. A movie – Jujutsu Kaisen 0 – was released in Japan on December 24, 2021, and since its release has already become the 64th highest-grossing film in Japanese box office history.

The anime is based on the manga title of the same name. Both the manga and the anime enjoyed widespread success in Japan, with the manga selling over 55 million copies.
