It’s a faithful adaptation of the story and stars Lily James as Cinderella, Richard Madden as Prince, Cate Blanchett as Stepmother, and Helena Bonham Carter as Fairy. godmother.
Although he is visually stunning and sports phenomenal costumes, Paul thinks the main roles are too bland and the film lacks humor. Blanchett is fantastic, however, as is Helena Bonham Carter although she only appears for a few minutes.
It’s a solid family movie and the best this week has to offer.
Get Hard, however, is the only option for adults and although audience members at the SXSW screening claimed it was homophobic and racist, Paul believes it is unfair.

With Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart (a Hart that is slightly quieter than the one we’re used to, which isn’t a bad thing), sometimes it’s really funny.
Seventh Son, unfortunately, is completely humorless. It’s a fantastic adventure with Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, Ben Barnes and Kit Harrington from Game of Thrones.
Sadly, Paul feels like he’s been cut to pieces, given that the ending quickly appears out of nowhere. Lord of the Rings, this is certainly not so possibly best avoided.
