Who is in the cast of Metal Lords on Netflix?

A new film is coming to Netflix from famed Game of Thrones co-creator D. B Weiss and director Peter Sollett (Raising Victor Vargas, Freeheld, Five Feet High and Rising).

Metal Lords follows the story of two heavy metal fans, Kevin (Jaeden Martell) and Hunter (Adrian Greensmith), and follows their attempts to start a band in a high school where very few students are interested in the genre. Unable to find a bassist, they recruit a cellist named Emily (Isis Hainsworth) for their next spot in the local Battle of the Bands competition.

With Kevin on drums and Adrian on guitar/vocals, can their supergroup navigate their way through the hardships of teenage life and on to glory?

Heavy metal magazine Metal Hammer gave the film three and a half stars, stating that the film “is a true love letter to the genre” and going on to say that it “does everything possible to show how metal can be inspiring when you first discover it, while acknowledging the daunting nature of trying to keep up with the many subgenres and categorizations in our scene.”

The film has been released on Netflix since April 8, 2022.
